How to get help with Overseer and its Chrome extension: who to contact, what to include, and how to fix or remove the extension.
Contact us
Email sumit@tryoverseer.com. A person reads every message, and we usually reply within one business day.
If it is easier to talk it through, you canbook a callinstead.
What to include
The more of this you send, the faster we can fix it:
- What you were trying to do, and what happened instead.
- The page or store you were on when it happened.
- A screenshot or short screen recording, if you can.
- Your Chrome version (from
chrome://version) and the extension version (fromchrome://extensions). - The email address you use to sign in to Overseer.
Chrome extension: first things to try
- Make sure you are signed in atapp.tryoverseer.comin the same Chrome profile.
- Reload the page you are working on, then open the extension again.
- Check the extension is turned on at
chrome://extensions, and pin it from the puzzle-piece menu so it is easy to reach. - Update Chrome and the extension: on
chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode and click “Update”. - Try turning off other extensions for a moment. Ad blockers and script blockers can stop pages from loading what the extension needs.
If none of that helps, email us with the details above.
Removing the extension
Right-click the Overseer icon in the toolbar and choose “Remove from Chrome”, or click “Remove” next to it on chrome://extensions. Removing it does not delete your Overseer account; to have your account data deleted, email sumit@tryoverseer.com.
